Dsign

Taking its design cues from the supercar, the Bentley Supersports B55 boasts a lightweight titanium case framing. A carbon fiber dial — two sturdy yet light materials featured throughout the construction of the Continental Supersports supercar. Further reminding the wearer of the timepiece’s homage to motorsports and giving it a solid, masculine look. The chronograph’s sporty appearance is carried through to its robust, red-lined TwinPro black rubber strap.

Chrono Rally, Chrono Race and Regularity Rally

Encased within the Bentley Supersports B55’s exceptional bodywork is an unparalleled engine. Equipped — for the very first time in Breitling for Bentley history — with an electronic movement. Enriched with properties perfect for the automobile aficionado, the in-house, chronometer-certified B55 electronic caliber houses three exclusive functions in addition to a flyback chronograph, electronic tachymeter, and lap timer.

Functions

The first function, the “Chrono Rally,” can record up to 30 rally stages. Including the departure date, the start time, and the duration of each stage — not to mention the intermediate times for each round — while automatically accounting for any incurred penalties. The second function, the “Chrono Race,” is suited to track races and allows the wearer to record the split times for each lap and calculate speed per lap averages.

Ideal for competitions where the objective is to cover a certain distance in a set amount of time. The final function, the “Regularity Rally,” gives the wearer the ability to predefine target or intermediate times from a total time, and — at the push of a button — monitor if these goals are being met.

Breitling Watch Application

Thanks to its electronic capabilities. The Bentley Supersports B55 can be used with a specially designed Breitling app. The manufacture created to enable the wearer to transfer and backup all of the data recorded by the watch once it’s connected to a smartphone, as well as receive notifications. This new connective philosophy gives the chronograph a technological twist and empowers its owner to take advantage of their smartphone’s functionality in order to perform certain adjustments.

Further augmenting the timepiece’s usefulness on the racetrack, the Bentley Supersports B55 uses two ultra-legible LCD (liquid crystal display) screens equipped with a backlighting system that can be activated by either pressing the crown or tilting the wrist.
